Bonnie Segal, Principal, founded Bonnie Segal Design:NY in 1984, Explormedia in 1994, and Corporate Identities in 1996. Previously she worked for Newman Design Associates.
Segal produced animated films for Sesame Street that still appear on Channel 13 and are in the permanent CTW Library. In 1988 Segal was a featured cover designer and illustrator for Art Direction Magazine.
Segal's work has appeared in many industry publications: American Corporate Identity, Creativity 15, Desi Annual, Society of Publication Designers Annual. Segal's Identity Marks were chosen to be in The Source Book of Visual Ideas by The New York Times Book Review Art Director, Steve Heller and the illustrator, Seymour Chwast.
Segal has taught Corporate Identity, Graphic Design and Design Theory at AGC, Association of Graphic Communications. Segal presently serves on the Board of Directors of SIGGRAPH/NY, the largest computer graphics organization in the world.
Segal's awards include: Graphics NY Illustration, Graphics NY Design, Philadelphia Art Directors Club Best of Show, American Corporate Identity, Society of Publication Designers, Creativity, Desi, Andy Award of Merit, STA 100, Praxis, American Graphic Design Awards.
Segal holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from Pratt Institute and a Business and Marketing Associates Degree from Baruch College. She has completed additional studies at School of Visual Arts, and at NYU's Center for Digital Multimedia. Segal also studied Branding Strategy at NYU.
